"Pheonix Sage, get back here!" A girl's voice shouted. Out of no where, a black haired fairy came running up to the cafe, purple skirt fluttering in the wind. "Hi, Orion!" The skirted fairy - Pheonix - said gleefully, disappearing inside. Orion smiled, shaking his head. Another fairy, Lexy came flying around the corner of the small building. "Where did he go!?" Lexy screeched in frustration. Orion simply shook his head, shrugging as he knocked the ash off of his cigarette. "No idea. Keep looking, Lex." He smiled, his bright ginger hair glinting in the sunshine. Lexy shook her head and took off again, calling out for Pheonix. "Alright, it's safe to come out now." Orion said, taking a sip of his coffee. "She's gone?" The fairy pulled open the door a bit and peered out around the edge of the doorframe. "She's gone." Pheonix gave a sigh of relief, leaning up to kiss Orion's cheek. "You owe me now, so I expect you here at the cafe at eight AM. I'm the only one working this week." Orion said, taking a small puff of his cigarette. Pheonix coughed, waving the smoke from his face. "I don't see why people sell those things. They're so gross." He complained, still coughing. Orion frowned, putting out the cancer stick (as Pheonix so often referred to them). "Sorry. Oi, don't start choking on me." The human said, reaching up to pat the back of Pheonix's neck. "So, why was Lexy chasing you?" Pheonix looked up, his eyes red and watery, but still sparkling playfully. "I took her skirt." He said, twirling around in a small circle so that the purple fabric spun out around him. Orion rolled his eyes. "You've got your own skirts, why not wear them?" The fairy stopped, grinning. "Because I like this one. Her clothes are cooler than mine." He said, bouncing in place, his purple wings shaking. "You've got a full closet of that Gothic Lolita style you adore so much and now you look like a girly girl. Make up your mind, Pheonix." Pheonix scowled, his shoulders dropping. "Keep insulting me and I won't come up tomorrow." He whined, stepping away from Orion. "Yes, you will." The human leaned down a bit, whispering in Pheonix's ear. "You always come by, no matter what. You can't resist me and my coffee." Orion smirked as the fairy's face turned pink and patted his shoulder, passing him to reenter the cafe. Pheonix stood there with a stupefied look on his face, shaken out of it only when he heard Lexy's voice. "There you are! Give me my skirt back!"
Can't Resist The Coffee Shop

So! Anyone remember the drawing of the fairy I uploaded yesterday? Welcome to his world. :]
Pheonix lives in a Fairy-Friendly human community in Paris, France, and has a serious crush on the local Cafe owner, Orion James. He likes stealing his best friend's skirts even though he's got a closet full of most things feminine. But he does dress male sometimes. Rarely.

Fairies are basically humans, with giant wings sprouting out from their shoulder blades and can control different elements of nature, such as fire and water. Pheonix is a fire fairy, and part of the Royal Court, in which is is often required to dress gender-appropriate, so sometimes he lies, and says he's a girl. Which usually gets him into some serious trouble. :D
